Who can join

The CTCRA is open to any formally constituted ratepayer or civic organisation operating within the boundaries of the City of Cape Town.

 Eligibility requirements

  • A formally constituted association with a recognised committee structure
  • Representing property owners or residents within the City of Cape Town
  • Committed to the CTCRA's principles of fair, lawful and transparent municipal governance
  • Willing to contribute to collective advocacy efforts and share relevant information with members
  • Not pursuing objectives that conflict with the interests of Cape Town ratepayers broadly

Membership is currently free. The CTCRA may request a nominal contribution from associations to cover legal and operational costs. Donations are welcome. All affiliates retain full autonomy in their own local affairs.
